TThe Sri Lanka Can Foundation was established in 2013 to support and finance deserving entrepreneurs by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, contacts and funding to take their ideas and/or businesses to their full potential.In addition, the foundation strives to give Sri Lankans a sense of national mindedness through initiatives that will result in bettering Sri Lanka through collective efforts.
In a resurgent post-war Sri Lanka, when local pride is at a peak and many of our brands have taken the challenge to go beyond our shores, it is timely that deserving entrepreneurs are given the necessary fillip and opportunity to take their creativity to the global scale.
The foundation was established by a group of people whose personal and professional interests have focused on building local brands, and whose strong belief in Sri Lankan capability is reflected in their business interests, which share that philosophy. The Sri Lanka Can Foundation is a way of sustaining our pride and belief in Sri Lanka by positively influencing tomorrow’s leaders and innovators.
The Sri Lankan Can Foundation will be funded primarily through contributions of time, money and knowledge from like minded Sri Lankan Entrepreneurs and Professionals.
We invite our partners and well wishers to also donate their time and funds towards the Foundation.
